Our UNC-GA Banner hosting partners will perform maintenance on the network and servers that are used for UNCP Banner and ODS services during the following times. Banner and ODS will be unavailable during these maintenance periods:
Blackboard and BraveWeb will not be affected by this maintenance and will be available during these Banner maintenance periods.
It has come to our attention that there is a bug in Blackboard exams that use the matching type of question.
We recommend that you do not use the Firefox browser to take tests or exams in Blackboard until this issue is resolved. Please use Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Safari.
Instructors may want to avoid using matching type questions in Blackboard exams until further notice.
We have discovered a bug in the latest version of Blackboard that will not allow some users to log out of Blackboard using the log out button. Blackboard has verified the bug and is working on a fix but does not have an estimate on when that fix will be available.
If you get the following error message when you click on the log out button you will need to clear your browser cookies to log out of Blackboard. "Could not perform database operation. An unknown error has occurred. NULL value not allowed in column [course_users_enrollment_date]"
There are some other conditions that will also trigger a log out
If you are using a shared workstation such as an instructor's podium or a lab machine we highly recommend that you log out of the workstation when you are finished using it. This will prevent someone else from using your browser session with blackboard even if you are unable to log out using the log out button.
